Air leakage testing of air duct

The HVAC industry today demands scientifically conducted air leakage tests to qualify ducting job quality. This is mandatory for medium/ high pressure ductwork under SMACNA/ DW143 and is usually done on a random sampling basis after installation.

The two commonly used leakage test methods in India (namely smoke and soap bubble tests) are ultimately of very limited value as they cannot provide a quantitative measure of leakage.

Rolastar offers a practical, mobile and efficient leakage tester at an affordable price.

This measures duct leakage as a percentage or in ltrs/sec/sq.mtr. of duct surface area.

Features:
  • Easy to use.
  • Calibration and certification by independent labs. A characteristic Graph enables easy identification of air leakage rates.
  • Compact size and light weight.
  • Wheeled trolley allows easy movement of the machine.
  • Electronic controller of blower speed.
  • Packed in a specially designed trunk for easy transportation and proper storage.
  • Supplied complete with flow meters, blower and instruction lit.
